2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to scan repositories you do not own or have authorization to scan.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written consent.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the source code you upload for scanning. RouicScan does not claim ownership of your code. The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by RouicScan and protected by intellectual property laws. Analysis results generated by the Service are provided to you for your use but the underlying algorithms and models remain our property.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. RouicScan does not guarantee that the Service will detect all bugs, vulnerabilities, or code quality issues. In no event shall RouicScan be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination, after which it may be deleted.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
